“My strongest preference in artistic subjects has always been to draw people. A portrait inspires my creativity in the hope of producing a work that will capture the likeness, feeling and character of the individual and the imagination of those who view it. Each person and event reveals him or herself by their expression, dress, style, and surroundings . The challenge is to portray the person’s uniqueness, their humour or seriousness, their youth or wisdom, or any of the other endless complexities that make up the individual.”
Commission Process
Prices are approximately determined by size and complexity of the subject matter as indicated in the chart below.
A 40% deposit is required to start. Fees are quoted in Canadian Dollars.

Portrait is usually done from appropriate photos provided by the client but photos taken by artist (travel expense is extra), but may also be done The photos provide a framework only and artist has liberty to adjust background, expression or any other detail on photo to create the work of art.
Orders take a minimum of 4 weeks to finish, not including time for photo sessions, and also depending on complexity and size.

If required, your photos, along with your portrait will be shipped by insured Priority Mail. Shipping costs are extra and cost depends upon picture size and geographical destination. | |
